Hi, I am Jasmina Haskovic.
Welcome to my website. I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in London. In the past, I have been travelling with my clients to Italy, Hungary and Canada, so I'm not sure if I can call myself an international photographer too :) I have been living in London for the past 10 years but was born in Slovenia, to a Bosnian and Montenegrin couple. Growing up, this was the best combination of parenting, as one was strict and the other nice. I learnt a lot about love from my parents and they have been through a lot. A lot.
Fast forward to today and they are still this couple who love each other dearly, no matter what. They have three daughters, I am the eldest one, and 4 grandchildren, my two nephews and two nieces. Family means a lot to me and I am very close with my sisters. One day when I get married they will be my bridesmaids.

IT ALL STARTED WHEN ...
My photography journey was not planned and it started by coincidence. I was a journalist at one of the Slovenian magazines and was supposed to cover an event. But last minute things changed and I end up without a photographer, so the photography editor gave me the camera and explained the basis of taking photos. Shoot on manual, if it's too bright move this here, and if it's too dark move this here, he showed me some numbers on the camera. I said, okay and the rest was history. Since then I have always attended all events on my own, as I was promoted to photojournalist. Of course, photography wasn’t that simple, but this is how my photography journey started.
MY WHY ...
I fell in love with photography slowly and surely and the more I was taking pictures the more I know this was something I wanted to do. In all honesty, the most I love about photography is you, the people I tend to meet while I work. Without you, my photography doesn't have a purpose. I am a good photographer because of the people I am taking pictures of. You and photography bring me love, happiness and peace. There is no day or project that is the same and this is exactly what makes it exciting. If you ask me why photography and not something else, the short version would be, it just feels right in my heart. Even, after more than 10 years in this industry, I feel exactly the same. I will be so beyond myself if you choose me as your photographer and let me be part of your most important life event using my photography skills, to make something meaningful and lasting. For me, being part of your day and capturing precious little moments that will last you forever is a privilege which I will always be grateful for.
ME BUT MORE PERSONAL …
I am Libra, who loves tarot cards and collects different decks. One of my favourite decks is called Moonology. Loves tattoos too. I am passionate about writing and I wrote a poetry book. My favourite tea is earl grey with milk. I am the proud owner of my little gin collection and my friends call me, Gin Queen. My favourite food is sushi and chocolate. Not together of course. I am obsessed with pugs. Yes, to napping anytime. Books are my runaway from reality. I am a real bookworm. Over and over again, I love losing myself in the words of different authors. Can you guess what my favourite genre is? Never mind, I will just tell you, it is romance of course. I hate being scared in any kind of way. I do not understand why someone would want to be scared for fun. Sorry, but not me. Because in a world where things are already hard and scary, I try not to spend my free time with sad and scary things.
